Concluding the afternoon’s focus on Europe, we present for the first time in the UK one of Spain’s most innovative, forward-looking bassists – Baldo combines his rich Spanish heritage and deep love of jazz with a compositional flair and a direct sound: melodic, passionate, hard-swinging and imbued with the dusty heat of flamenco.
